Day 99 - Travel day 2

When we got up in the morning for breakfast it was a good feeling knowing that we were almost there and would soon be free from our watery hell. Jokes on us. The port control decided to close the port due to strong winds. Honestly, hell.

5 hours later it was open again. and an hour later we finally got off the ship, into a crazy taxi for a short ride to the train station and another 2 hours of waiting.

When we got on the train it took a few minutes for us to get into our seats and just as quickly got shifted out of them. Why? Because our ticket was for the next day?!?!!!! Damnit!

Get all our stuff, get off the train and go talk to someone on the platform because we thought we had bought a ticket for this day. He said that because we had rail passes he would allow us to stay on the train for today anyway. Yay! Thanks train man!!!

Another 6 hours later (11pm - ish) we arrive in ROME!!! Short walk around looking for our hostel, found it, chatted with the owner for a bit then up to the room and pass out.
