Day 104 - On the road again

Another morning that came to soon. Or I stayed up to late again..
Chad came in to wake me up (which NEVER happens) and scared me half to death. Apparently I rolled away scared and then hit him..

After breakfast we packed up again, planning to go walk around for a while before going to the train station, but the hostel owner decided we had to leave at 10 instead of 10:30 like he told us yesterday. Not nice.

So we grabbed our bags and headed for the train. 2.5 hours to Milan, a short station "layover" and 4 more train hours up to Switzerland.

During our train rides we read, played a game, snacked, napped and looked at the gorgeous scenery around us. As the train went on and on I could see distinctly that we were somewhere new. How exciting!

In Lucerne it is crisp and cool and quite lovely. Christmas feeling!
Off our train we walked to the hostel we planned to stay at only to find it closed for the winter. We have decided its really time we start planning ahead a bit..
Walked back to the train station hoping to find somewhere to sit and figure stuff out. No seats were found, so we went walking again and checked into the first hotel we came across. The room has a bed, bathroom and included breakfast. That's about all we were hoping for and are therefore happy.

A short while after getting into our room we ventured out for a short walk and food before coming back to get ready for bed.
